What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a practical training course for qualified drivers who want to improve their skills and drive more safely. It takes at least six hours and there is no final test; your driving is assessed throughout the course.

The six Pass Plus modules

• Town driving
• Driving in all weather conditions
• Rural-road driving
• Driving at night
• Dual carriageways
• Motorways

Most modules are practical. Local conditions may mean that part of a module has to be covered through discussion. When the required standard is reached, your training record can be used to apply for a Pass Plus certificate from DVSA.

Price and suitability

Pass Plus with ProPasser costs £300. It is most useful for new drivers in the year after passing, although it can be taken at any time. Availability and suitability will be discussed before booking.
