This policy explains how ProPasser and the technology providers supporting propasser.co.uk use cookies and similar technologies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a computer, telephone or other device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that store information on, or access information from, a device.

2. Who is responsible

ProPasser is operated by Jamie Steven Spedding trading as ProPasser. The website is hosted by WordPress.com, operated by Automattic. WordPress.com may use cookies or similar technologies for hosting, security, forms, spam protection, preferences and site statistics. See the Automattic Cookie Policy for further information.

3. Categories of technologies

• Strictly necessary: used for website operation, security, fraud and spam prevention, form delivery, network management and remembering privacy choices. These may operate without consent where genuinely necessary, but visitors must still be informed.
• Preferences: used to remember choices requested by a visitor, such as cookie or display preferences. Some preference uses may require consent.
• Analytics and performance: used to understand visits, page use and technical performance. WordPress.com may provide Site Stats or related platform measurements. Where PECR requires consent, these technologies must remain disabled until the visitor agrees. ProPasser does not independently use Google Analytics.
• Advertising and profiling: ProPasser does not intentionally add advertising cookies, Meta Pixel or similar profiling technologies. If this changes, prior consent will be obtained where required and this policy will be updated.

4. WordPress.com, forms and Akismet

WordPress.com and Akismet may process technical information when a page loads or a form is submitted. This may include IP address, browser information, request data, timestamps and submission metadata. The purposes include operating the website, delivering form submissions, identifying spam, preventing abuse and maintaining security.

5. External services and links

The website contains links that allow visitors to telephone, send an SMS or open WhatsApp. Clicking an external link may take you to another provider, such as WhatsApp/Meta, which may then use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policies.

ProPasser does not currently embed YouTube or TikTok videos and does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising-tracking tools.

6. Your choices

Where optional cookies are offered, visitors must be given a clear choice to accept or reject them. Rejecting optional cookies must be as straightforward as accepting them. Strictly necessary cookies may remain active because the website cannot operate securely without them.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect website functions, form submission or privacy preferences.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy will be reviewed whenever website features, plugins, analytics, advertising or embedded services change. The latest version will be published at propasser.co.uk/cookie-declaration/ with its updated date.
